Fundraising for NewLink Wales

Your support has the power to truly change peoples’ lives and improve communities.
There are some fantastic opportunities to raise money for NewLink Wales and they’re not all about jumping from planes or running marathons, although you can do that too!

The impact the money raised will have includes - building the resilience of young people, reducing crime, tackling addiction, preventing relapse, improving the health of communities, tackling exclusion and improving peoples’ chances of gaining employment.

For more information on any of the fundraising opportunities below, ideas of your own, or for sponsor forms contact Sue O'Brien by email or call 02920 529002.

Most people can’t give up chocolate, and with the rise in psychoactive drugs changing the drug scene so rapidly, imagine what it’s like to give up some of the substances that are now available! However hard it is though, people are achieving it every day and it’s the most brilliant and positive thing. We believe it’s time to highlight the fact that many people rebuild their lives and achieve their recovery. Heroes – all of them!

Love it, or hate it, there’s no getting away with it, we all have to shop! Whether you prefer to shop online, or you have your favourite supermarket, you can raise money and awareness for NewLink Wales without it costing you a penny!

Give as you Live is an awesome tool allowing you to shop online with thousands of top retailers who donate a percentage of your total bill to us but costs you nothing!
It’s so easy – all you have to do is register, install the reminder and each time you visit a store signed up with Give as you Live, a pop up will appear on your toolbar to remind you to activate your donations!

Asda and Waitrose both support their local communities with token schemes. Charities are nominated by their customers, three are chosen and customers are given tokens at the till to pop in the charity box of their choice and they each share a cash prize. The charities are changed regularly, so, when you’re next in these supermarkets, pick up a form and nominate NewLink Wales!

Leaving a lasting Gift for your community

Your family and friends are naturally foremost in your mind when it comes to leaving a gift in your Will but you can also leave a footprint in your community.

After you have taken care of your loved ones, you can leave us a share of your estate, cash or a specific gift which will help us plan for the future. It doesn’t matter whether the gift is large or small, every penny will be greatly appreciated and will help change negative pasts into positive futures and improve communities for the better. It costs you nothing during your lifetime and can reduce your inheritance tax liability.
