The YES (Youth Empowerment Service) is delivered in Bridgend. YES aims to raise awareness, provide information, and give support to people aged 6-16 who are affected by someone else’s use of drugs or alcohol.

YES aims to reduced second-generation substance misuse, engage young people in activities within their communities and schools, and to help them improve their ability to deal with their emotions.

The service is confidential – this is to alleviate the isolation that young people can fear they will suffer if they share their difficulties, a fear which can prevent them from opening up, even to other people in similar situations.

The YES service is funded by Children in Need.
