Full-time: 37 hours, flexibility required

The Peer Mentoring Service complements existing treatment, care and support services. Through mentoring support, the Service helps people move on with their lives and allow them to thrive. By helping them re-find their self-reliance, develop new skills, and acquire qualifications, the Service is designed to help people move towards employment and, ultimately, gain economic independence.

We’re looking for an experienced, knowledgeable Training Volunteer Coordinator, with a passion for helping people change their lives, to join the NewLink Wales & Gofal staff who form our Peer Mentoring team. You'll be supporting the team, identifying ways in which we can improve the service and meet the needs of those we help, and delivering training courses to service participants.

It's an exciting opportunity to join a team that's making a genuine and lasting difference to people across Cardiff and Cwm Taf, helping them to develop their skills, find their confidence, and build their futures.

The Service is delivered by a range of providers across Wales, with NewLink Wales and Gofal taking responsibility for delivery across the Cwm Taf and Cardiff and Vale Health Board Areas.

The scheme has been made possible by funding from the European Social Fund through the Welsh Government.
