We're looking for a Trustee Treasurer

At NewLink Wales, we are recruiting for the successor of our current Treasurer who will be standing down in October 2019.  We aim to commence the appointment of the new Treasurer in January 2019 as this will give opportunity for the current Treasurer to support the implementation of the new role. We are looking for an inspiring, progressive and committed individual to join our Board of Trustees in a leadership role for our charity.

NewLink Wales has been established for 16 years, tackling substance misuse problems and wider wellbeing issues. As a trustee, you will be involved in a minimum of 4 meetings a year, and will be responsible for overseeing the strategic vision of the charity, ensuring we adhere to our objectives and ensuring that we deliver maximum benefit to the people we serve.  This is a rewarding voluntary role where you can really make a difference in the community.

We’re keen to hear from people who have skills in one of the following areas:

  • Marketing
  • PR and Communications
  • Property Management
  • Academic Research
  • Experience of the voluntary sector
  • Strategic Planning in the Wellbeing Sector
  • Campaigning
  • Fundraising
  • IT
