Course Specifications

The content includes the following:

The course looks into one of Britain’s most popular recreational drugs. On this one day course we look at raising awareness on ketamine and look in depth at harm reduction practices that can be applied. We also explore the risks, harms and dangers associated with Ketamine use. The course includes tutor lead presentations, case studies, practical sessions and group work.

Learning outcomes

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

1.   Describe the effects of ketamine
2.   Analyse the risks surrounding ketamine
3.   Examine methods of use, analyse risks and explore harm minimisation methods
