'County lines' is an issue that has been affecting communities across the UK for quite some time. It revolves around organised crime groups who operate by grooming, enticing or recruiting vulnerable young people and adults to work for them by offering money, status, clothes and drugs.

To raise awareness and improve knowledge of the topic, NewLink Wales are running a series of workshops around how you can spot, support and signpost individuals who are at risk of - or are already - being targeted by groups operating across county lines.

A collaboration with South Wales Police, these workshops will be delivered by a Detective with 27 years of service. During this this time he has taken part in the investigation of serious and organised crime across South Wales and is now responsible for in-house investigative training.

Course duration:

10am – 1pm
