Course Specification/Contents:

1. Categories of substances
2. Signs and symptoms of substance use
3. The bereavement process
4. Impact that substance use has on bereavement
5. Appropriate pathways for support

By the end of the course participants will be able to:
1. State the different substance categories
2. Identify the signs and symptoms of substance use
3. Describe the bereavement process
4. Explore the role that substance use has during the grieving process
5. Recognising appropriate referral pathways and when to use them

A 10% discount will be given on bookings when a competed booking form is received six weeks before the course date. Unfortunately we cannot offer the usual 5% discount to members on top of this.
