Course Specification/Contents:
This day will explore the nature of anger and aggression. There will be opportunity to learn and practice methods of working with anger.
At the end of the training, the participant should be able to:
1.Describe the physiological responses to anger
2.Recognise triggers
3.Understand and apply the Assault Cycle to their work
4.Apply methods of working with anger including Motivational Interviewing
methods and Cognitive Behavioural methods
